I grew up in Switzerland. My father has lived here more than 60 years — this is the only home he's ever really known, and it's the one that raised me too. The trails, the lakes, the quiet viewpoints nobody puts on a postcard — I didn't discover these places. I inherited them. Trailmarked is my attempt to pass a few of them on to you.
Every pin is a place I've stoodNothing in this guide came from a "top 10" list. Every trail, every swimming spot, every viewpoint is somewhere I've actually walked to, swum in, or sat and watched the light change over. When I started filming these places for TikTok, people kept asking where is that — so I turned the answer into a map you can actually use, pin by pin, the way I'd tell a friend.
The name
In Switzerland, you're never far from a trail marker — a small yellow sign, easy to miss, that quietly tells you exactly where you are and where the path goes next. That's the feeling I wanted this guide to have. Not a list. A marker, pointing you somewhere real.
This is home
